The caster/camber adjustment is accomplished by loosening the nuts on the upper control arm, behind the rotational shaft, and adding to or removing from the existing shim pack to obtain correct front alignment.

In rare cases where adjustment cannot be achieved using shims, the upper arm pedestals must be loosened and readjusted. This is only to be performed when shimming does not provide adjustment capacity. See Figure 27.
