ISSUE: A "squealing" noise from the front disc brakes during application may be caused by inadequate insulating material on the backside of the disc brake pads or vibrating disc brake pads.
ACTION: Install new front disc brake pads that have chamfered linings to reduce pad vibration and additional insulating material. Refer to the appropriate Car Shop Manual, Section 12-20 for removal and installation procedures.
