REASONS FOR RECALL
The substrate material in the catalysts in some of the affected cars may rattle and break up during normal customer usage. If the substrate material breaks up, exhaust emission levels may exceed California standards.

SERVICE ACTION
Cars returned for service will be inspected, and if necessary, have the exhaust system catalyst replaced at no charge.
