Vacuum Vent Valve: Adjustments

The vacuum dump valve,
Fig. 2, is movable in its mounting bracket. It should be adjusted so that it is closed (no vacuum leak) when the brake pedal is in its normal release position (not depressed), and open when the pedal is depressed. Use a hand vacuum pump to make this adjustment.
