1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove stabilizer bar link-to-strut attaching nuts.
3. Remove stabilizer bar link-to-stabilizer bar attaching nuts.
4. Remove steering gear-to-sub-frame attaching bolts, then move steering gear off sub-frame.
5. Support sub-frame with suitable safety stands, then remove rear sub-frame attaching bolts. Lower rear part of sub-frame to gain access to stabilizer bar mounting brackets.
6. Remove mounting brackets, then the stabilizer bar.
7. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque stabilizer bar mounting brackets to 21---32 ft. lbs.
b. Torque sub-frame attaching bolts to 85---100 ft. lbs.
c. Torque stabilizer bar link attaching nuts to 35---48 ft. lbs.
