A/T - ATX Shifting Problems After Rebuild

Subject: ATX

PROBLEM: Transmission Shift Problems

SYMPTOM: Transmission shift problems are present before, or after, rebuilding an ATX, even though a shift kit is installed with a new governor.

SOLUTION: Check, inspect or replace the governor drive gear, part # E3FZ-17285-B.

If the teeth on the gear are good, check the lateral movement. Most of the time, it will be worn on the lugs.
