TROUBLESHOOTING MANUAL (EVTM) CORRECTION

FORD: 1987 TAURUS

LINCOLN-MERCURY: 1987 SABLE

ISSUE: The charge/power distribution electrical schematic on page 19 of the 1987 EVTM showing the alternator integral regulator wiring is incorrect. This could cause improper diagnosis of the vehicle charging system.




ACTION: Please correct your 1987 EVTM to reflect the changes at the alternator integral regulator terminals "A" circuit 36 and "S" circuit 904, Figure 5.
