Subject: Safety recall 86S19 - Certain 1987 Taurus and Sable sedans for Replacement of the Rear Spindle Assemblies

Ford Motor Company has determined that a defect which relates to motor vehicle safety exists in certain 1987 Taurus and Sable sedans. The purpose of this bulletin is to: 1) inform dealers of the subject recall 2) provide detailed technical instructions, and 3) provide a computer-generated listing of the involved vehicles and preprinted Forms 1864 for the recall service.
