Fuel Distance/Mileage Module: Description and Operation

The fuel computer module goes through prove out when powered up and then goes to normal operation, displaying the last function it was set to.
The fuel computer module can be brought up by any one of the three buttons. The E/M button displays in either English (miles, miles/gal., miles/hr.) or metric (km., L/100 km., km/hr.). The SELECT button selects one of the following functions for display:
1. Instantaneous fuel economy.
2. Average fuel economy.
3. Distance to empty (DTE).
4. Distance.
5. Average speed.
6. Back to instantaneous fuel economy.
The RESET button resets displayed function as follows:
1. Average fuel economy is reset to the instantaneous fuel economy value.
2. Distance is reset to zero.
3. Average speed is reset to the instantaneous speed value.
