Octane Rod, Replace
Open Bowl Distributor:
1.
Remove
distributor cap, adapter, and rotor.
2.
Remove octane rod retaining screw,

Slide octane rod grommet out so rod can be disengaged from stator retaining post, and remove octane rod.
4.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque screw to 15-35 in.lbs.
