Ford Motor Company is voluntarily recalling (Emissions Recall 93E37) certain 1988-Model Rangers. Your Ranger's engine may be releasing air pollutants which exceed Federal standards.

At no cost to you, your dealer will modify your Ranger's engine emissions control system and replace the exhaust system catalyst according to the instructions provided by

If you do not have this service done,

^ Your Ranger may not pass emissions or smog tests required in your area.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?
The time needed to repair your Ranger is about one hour. However, due to service scheduling times, your dealer may need your Ranger for one full working day.

CALL YOUR DEALER
Call your dealer without delay. Ask for a service date and if parts are in stock.

If your dealer does not have the parts in stock, they can be ordered before scheduling your service date. Parts would be expected to arrive within a week.
