Torque Converter: Service and Repair

DISASSEMBLE
1. Remove reactor support attaching bolts.

Tool Arrangement For Removal Of Reactor Support:

2. Remove reactor support from case using support removal tool No. T81P-70363-A or equivalent.

ASSEMBLE

Installing Reactor Support:

1. Install bolt, guide pin, sleeve, and collar on reactor support.
2. Position this assembly in the case ensuring slot in reactor support is aligned with oil return hole in case.
3. Position adapter in case and install bolt, washer, and nut.
4. Pull reactor support into case using support installation tool No. T81P-70363-A or equivalent.
5. Remove guide pin, then install attaching bolts and torque.
