OWNER NOTIFICATION PROGRAM B95

Improve engine performance for F-Series Super Duty Trucks by installing a modified EEC IV processor and, where required, a high flow thermostat or a thermactor silencer.


TECHNICAL INSTRUCTIONS

**** NOTE ****

INSTALL ALL OF THE SERVICE PARTS PACKAGED IN THE KIT. FAILURE TO INSTALL ALL OF THE SERVICE PARTS WILL RESULT IN AN INEFFECTIVE REPAIR.


1. Perform an EEC IV Quick Test. Correct service codes as required.

2. Check and reset base timing to 10 degrees BTC, if required.

3. Obtain the correct service kit for the unit. Refer to the service part application chart.

4. Remove the existing EEC IV processor.

5. For service kits that include thermostats, install the new thermostat.

6. For service kits that include thermactor silencers and brackets, install the thermactor silencer and bracket.

NOTE

OBTAIN AN AUTHORIZED MODIFICATIONS DECAL AND LIST THE DATE, DEALER NUMBER, AND SUMMARY OF ALTERATIONS PERFORMED. SELECT A PROMINENT PIACE ADJACENT TO THE VEHICLE EMISSIONS CONTROL INFORMATION DECAL SUITABLE FOR INSTALLING THE AUTHORIZED MODIFICATIONS DECAL. CLEAN THE AREA, INSTALL THE DECAL, AND COVER IT WITH A CLEAR PLASTIC SHIELD.
