Radio/Stereo: Service and Repair

When installing radio, adjust antenna trimmer for peak performance.

Except All-Electronic Radio

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove radio knobs and screws attaching bezel to instrument panel.
3. Remove radio mounting plate attaching screws.
4. Pull radio to disengage it from lower rear support bracket.
5. Disconnect radio wiring and remove radio.
6. Reverse procedure to install.

All-Electronic Radio

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove screws attaching bezel to instrument panel.
3. Remove radio attaching screws.
4. Pull radio to disengage it from rear support bracket, then disconnect antenna, power and speaker leads and remove radio.
5. Remove rear support retaining nut and the support.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
