Safety Recall 95828 - Ignition Switch Replacement - Parts Return Revision

Effective with work performed January 2, 1996 we request your assistance to return ALL ignition switches replaced under the recall. Due to the volume of vehicles affected, we request that you accumulate your daily switch replacements and assemble as a separate shipment. Send collect via LOOMIS, in the normal manner, to the Warranty Parts Evaluation Centre at Oakville.

NOTE:
^ All returned switches MUST HAVE a completed Warranty Tag (Form 5553-2) attached.

^ We request that all the information on the Tag be filled in and IN ADDITION we request that you also identify the model year and vehicle line at the top of the tag (i.e. 1990 Mustang).

^ Annotate "Reason for replacement" as "RECALL 95S28".

^ Please note that no facsimile, for part return, will be generated.

This return requirement will be in effect until further notice. It will aid the Company in its continuing investigation of ignition switch concerns. Your assistance in this matter is appreciated.
