Removal and Installation

1. Disconnect return hose from power steering pump reservoir and allow fluid to drain into a suitable container.
2. Disconnect pressure hose from power steering pump fitting, then remove pump mounting bracket and disconnect drive belt from pulley.
3. Remove the belt from the pulley, then pulley.
4. Remove power steering pump.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque pump to mounting bracket bolts to 30-45 ft. lbs. and pressure hose to pump tube nut to 10-15 ft. lbs. Endplay of pressure hose to pump fitting is normal and does not indicate a loose fitting. Do not overtorque.
