Power Steering Pressure Switch: Description and Operation
The
power steering pressure switch detects power steering operation and sends a signal to the electronic control assembly. The signal from the power steering pressure switch affects engine idle speed. The switch is connected in the high pressure line from the power steering pump to the steering rack.
