Vehicle Speed Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. On models with electronic instrument cluster, disconnect electrical connector from sensor.
3. Remove sensor attaching bolt from transaxle housing.
4. Pull sensor from transaxle housing.
5. On models with analog instrument cluster, remove cluster and lens assembly.
6. Remove attaching screws, then the speedometer subassembly.
7. Remove speed sensor.
8. On all models, reverse procedure to install.
