Coolant Temperature Switch (For Computer)

The engine coolant temperature switch detects the temperature of radiator coolant and supplies the information to the electronic control assembly. Signal from the engine coolant temperature switch affects, air/fuel ratio, EGR flow and ignition timing (turbocharged engine). The engine coolant temperature switch is threaded into the lower radiator water passage.
