Quick Test 4.0A - Continuous Self-Test
Continuous Memory CodesNOTE: Verify that the Manual Shift Light DID NOT FLASH during Quick Test Step 1.0 before continuing with this test.
It is necessary to CLEAR the codes in Memory BEFORE continuing this test.
Only service those codes which are recreated by Continuous Test.
Clearing Continuous Memory Codes
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the small (16-pin) connector on the 4EAT Control Unit.
3. Remove the STAR Tester or Volt Ohm Meter (VOM).
Determining the Continuous Memory Codes to be Tested
The codes indicated during Quick Test Step 3.0A: Address only those codes for which a similar code has not been previously serviced.
