Speed Control System Does Not Disengage W/Brakes Applied

1. Apply brake pedal and ensure brake lights work. If satisfactory, proceed to step 2. If not satisfactory, check stop lamp circuit and verify fuses are not open.
2. Ensure proper operation of vacuum dump valve. If satisfactory, proceed to step 3. If not satisfactory, adjust or replace as necessary.
3. Ensure proper operation of servo and linkage. If satisfactory, proceed to step 4. If not satisfactory, replace servo or linkage.
4. Perform tests on amplifier. If satisfactory, proceed to step 5. If not satisfactory, replace amplifier.
5. Examine all connectors to ensure proper contacts.
