REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

REMOVAL


1. Remove the dual function reservoir shell, if so equipped.

2. Remove the plastic remainingclipss from the fuel lines. Do not remove the reservoir from the frame at this time.

3. To minimize fuel spillage remove one fuel line at a time and immediately reinstall it on the replacement reservoir. Repeat for all six (6) lines. Install the six (6) new fuel line retaining clips.

4. Remove the two (2) bolts retaining the reservoir assembly to the tame. Remove and discard the reservoir.


INSTALLATION


1. Position the new reservoir assembly (with the fuel fines attached) to the frame rail and install the two (2) retaining bolts. Tighten the bolt to 12-17 ft.lbs. (17-23 N-m)

2. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks. Switch fuel tanks and repeat leak check.

3. Reinstall the reservoir shield, if so equipped.

NOTE:
USE THE BLACK CLIPS ON THE THREE SUPPLY LINES. USE THE WHITE CLIPS ON THE THREE RETURN LINES.
