The main control body assembly directs transmission fluid under pressure to the servo, clutches, and solenoids.

The accumulator body assembly is used to cushion the application of the intermediate, direct, and overdrive clutches. The accumulator body assembly also contains modulating valves to provide cushioning pressure to the accumulator.

The solenoid body assembly contains four On/Off solenoids, an electronic pressure control solenoid, and the Transmission Oil Temperature (TOT) sensor, which controls shift scheduling, converter clutch application, and clutch application pressure.
