This TSB article is being republished in its entirety to include 1993 model year vehicles.

ISSUE:
It is recommended that the frame mounted fuel filter be replaced at regular intervals of 15,000 miles (24,000 km)/15 month intervals. This is more frequent than the 22,500 miles (36,200 km)/22 month intervals stated in the Service Manuals. This shorter interval is necessary because of the changing nature of fuels available. A partially clogged or restricted fuel filter may cause such driveability symptoms as poor performance, lack of power and hard starting.

ACTION:
Replace the frame mounted fuel filters at 15,000 miles (24,000 km)/15 month intervals. Refer to the 1992 Econoline, F-150-350, Series, Bronco, F-Super Duty Service Manual, Section 10-01A, for service details.
