With Analog Voltmeter

Analog Voltmeter Connections:

1. Perform all safety steps required to START and RUN the vehicle tests (apply parking brake, put transmission in PARK (NEUTRAL for M/T), block the drive wheels, etc.).
2. Turn OFF all electrical loads (radio, lights, blower motor, etc.)
3. Turn the ignition key OFF.
4. Set the Volt/Ohm Meter (VOM) to the 15 VDC range.
5. Connect the VOM from the battery positive post to the Self Test Output (STO) pin (pin #4) of the large self test connector.
6. Connect a timing light to the vehicle.
