Nylon Vacuum Harness Tubing And Connectors:

If a nylon harness tube is kinked or broken, and the damaged area is not more than 1/2 inch from a connector, the tube can be repaired by cutting out the damaged section, then installing a rubber union.

Vacuum Connectors Used With 5/32 Inch Rubber Hose for Service:

If the damaged portion is 1/2-inch or more, or the remaining hose would be too short, replace the entire hose and the connectors. Use existing service stock of 5/32-inch hose, 7/32-inch hose and tees.
