Timing Cover: Service and Repair

1. Remove accessory drive belts.
2. Remove crankshaft pulley as follows:
a. Remove right inner fender panel.
b. Remove bolts, the crankshaft pulley, then baffle plate.
3. Support engine.
4. Remove attaching nuts, dowels from right engine mount, then remove mount from engine.
5. Remove attaching bolts, the upper, then lower covers as needed.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Install covers using new gaskets, then torque attaching bolts to 61-87 inch lbs.
b. When installing crankshaft pulley, ensure that recess faces away from engine.
