Condenser HVAC: Service and Repair

Fig. 2 Spring lock coupling disconnect & connect:

1. Discharge refrigerant system.
2. Remove two refrigerant lines at fittings on right side of radiator, Fig. 2.
3. Drain coolant from radiator.
4. Remove radiator from vehicle, then remove four bolts attaching condenser to radiator support. Lift condenser from vehicle.
5. Reverse procedure to install. Use new O-rings lubricated with refrigerant oil.
6. Leak test, evacuate and charge refrigerant system.
