Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.
3. Remove the air duct from the air filter cover.
4. Remove the air filter cover attaching bolts.
5. Remove the air filter cover.
6. Remove the vane air flow meter attaching nuts from inside the air cleaner cover.
7. Remove the vane air flow meter.


Vane Air Flow (VAF) Meter Removal:







INSTALLATION
1. Position the VAF meter onto the air filter cover and install the attaching nuts.
2. Position the air cleaner cover and install the attaching bolts.
3. Install the air duct and secure with clamp.
4. Connect the electrical connector.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
