Seat Belt Control Module: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the quarter trim panel.






3. Remove the three control module mounting plate bolts.






4. Disconnect the two control module electrical connectors.
5. Remove the passive restraint control module from the mounting plate.

INSTALLATION
1. Install the passive restraint module onto the mounting plate.
2. Connect the two control module electrical connectors.
3. Position the passive restraint control module and install the three mounting bolts.
4. Install the quarter trim panel.
5. Connect the negative battery cable.
6. Check the passive restraint system for proper operation.
