1. On vehicles equipped with catalytic converters the following conditions must be observed:
a. Use only "UNLEADED FUEL."
b. Avoid running out of fuel.
c. In case of poor engine operation (misfire), avoid driving the vehicle and correct the problem immediately.
d. Avoid push or pull starting the vehicle.
2. Service vehicle on regular scheduled maintenance intervals to ensure proper engine performance and lower emission levels.
3. Always be conscious of fuel odors and excessive tail pipe emissions (black smoke), these are problem indicators.
4. DO NOT attempt to dismantle the steering column on vehicles equipped with air bags; personal injury and vehicle damage may result.
