Inside Rear View Mirror - Removal/Installation

ISSUE: A procedure has been developed for removing and installing the inside rear view mirror.

ACTION: If service is required, use the following procedure to remove and install the inside rear view mirror.


REMOVAL

1. Grasp the mirror firmly.

2. Insert a screwdriver into the screwless mount slot until the spring clip is contacted as shown in Figure 1.

3. While pushing on the spring with the screwdriver, pull up on the mirror to remove it from the windshield.

INSTALLATION

1. Slide the rear view mirror onto the mounting button.

2. Push until it is firmly fixed in place.
