Governor: Service and Repair

DISASSEMBLE

Governor Assembly:

1. Remove two cover attaching bolts, then the cover.
2. Remove and discard seal.
3. Remove speedometer drive gear bearing, speedometer drive gear, and governor assembly.

ASSEMBLE
1. Push speedometer drive gear onto governor shaft, aligning slots in gear with shaft roll pin.
2. Install speedometer drive gear bearing on speedometer drive gear with outer race facing up.
3. Install new seal and cover, then the cover attaching bolts and torque bolts.
