Brake Fluid Level Sensor/Switch: Service and Repair

Refer to Fig. 6, during the following procedure.
1. With hydraulic system discharged, disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect electrical connector from fluid level indicator.
3. Empty reservoir of as mush brake fluid as possible.
4. Remove suction line between pump and reservoir, from reservoir by rotating and pulling hose from fitting.
5. Remove reservoir by placing a flat blade screwdriver between push-in outlet and push-in stud/grommet, then prying up gently. Ensure short sleeve and O-ring are removed from booster grommet hole.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
