Throttle Position Sensor: Service and Repair
Throttle Position Sensor:
1.
Disconnect Throttle Position (TP) sensor from wiring harness.
2.
Remove the two
throttle position sensor retaining screws.
3.
Remove the TP sensor.
4.
Place the TP sensor on the throttle body.
5.
Install the retaining screws, torquing them to 24.8-27.4 lbs. in. (2.8-3.1 N-m).
6.
Connect the TP sensor electrical connector.
