Electronic Brake Control Module: Description and Operation

The electronic controller is located in the luggage compartment of the vehicle, behind the righthand side of the rear seat. It is an on-board self test non-repairable unit, consisting of two microprocessors and the necessary circuitry for their operation. These microprocessors are programmed identically and operate on the principle of two channel redundant data processing and plausibility criteria monitoring.
