Blower Motor Switch: Service and Repair

INSTRUMENT PANEL MOUNTED
1. Remove heater control assembly as outlined previously, but do not disconnect control cables from assembly.
2. Using a small screwdriver, gently pry knob from blower switch.
3. Working from back of control assembly, disconnect blower switch electrical connector.
4. Remove blower switch to control assembly attaching screws, then the blower switch.
5. Reverse procedure to install.

AUXILIARY HEATER & A/C REAR MOUNTED
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Using a small screwdriver, gently pry knob from blower switch, Fig. 11.
3. Remove ash tray bezel attaching screws, then the bezel.
4. Disconnect wire harness electrical connector from blower switch.
5. Remove blower switch attaching screws, then the blower switch.
6. Reverse procedure to install.
