Electronic Brake Control Module: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Locate ECU at RH front side of radiator support. Disconnect 55 pin electrical connector.
3. Unlock connector by pulling up lever completely. Move to of connector away from ECU until terminals are clear, then pull connector up out of slots in ECU.
4. Remove three mounting screws attaching ECU to mounting bracket.
5. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Align ECU with bracket so lever is facing up and side with two mounting holes is flat against bracket top.
B. Torque mounting screws to 40-60 inch lbs.
