With Passive Restraint System

1. Disable airbag system as outlined in MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES
2. Remove four airbag module to steering wheel attaching nuts, then lift module rearward from steering wheel.
3. Disconnect airbag electrical connector from clockspring contact connector.
4. Remove airbag module from steering wheel. Position airbag module on bench with trim cover facing upward.
5. Disconnect horn/speed control black wire harness connector from clockspring contact connector located in upper center of steering wheel.
6. Remove steering column switch two attaching screws.
7. Remove electrical tape from electrical connectors located at each upper clip in steering wheel.
8. Disconnect speed control switch wires at untaped wire connectors, then remove switches.
9. Reverse procedure to install. Torque airbag module to steering wheel nut and washer assemblies to 35-53 inch lbs.
