Wheel Speed Sensor

1. Disconnect speed sensor harness connector.
2. Remove retaining bolt, then pull sensor from axle housing.
3. Clean axle mounting surface, then install sensor as follows:
a. Lubricate sensor O-ring with engine oil. If old sensor is to be reused, replace O-ring.
b. Grasp sensor at sides, then push fully into axle housing, ensuring that mounting flange hole aligns with threaded hole in axle housing, ensuring and air gap of .005-.045 inch.
c. Install retaining bolt and torque to 25-30 ft. lbs.
