Hazard Warning Switch: Service and Repair

1. On 1992 models, disarm airbag system as outlined in MAINTENANCE PROCEDURES.
2. On all models, remove steering column shroud.
3. Remove switch to steering column casting attaching screws, then disengage switch from column.
4. Disconnect switch electrical connectors. Do not damage PRNDL cable.
5. Remove switch assembly.
6. Reverse procedure to install. Torque switch attaching screws to 18-27 inch lbs. Rearm airbag system.
