Neutral Safety Switch: Description and Operation

The neutral start switch mounted on Automatic Transmission (A/T) vehicles, indicates to the electronic control module when vehicle is in NEUTRAL position, making it possible to change the range shift from 4H to 4L, or from 4L to 4H.
