Road Test
It is important to test drive the vehicle with the customer to UNDERSTAND HIS OR HER CONCERN.Complete the road test before beginning any repairs since you may have multiple causes that need to be identified.
^ The road test should be done on a flat, straight road and should be done in both directions to account for wind
^ Tire pressure should be checked and adjusted, if necessary
^ A second person in the vehicle during the road test is helpful. Unless otherwise directed, the second person must remain in the front RH passenger location
^ On vehicles with automatic locking hubs, it is necessary to drive 6 meters (20 feet) forward and then backward to unlock the hubs
NOTE:
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE VEHICLE MAY HAVE MULTIPLE SYMPTOMS. A ROAD TEST/CAUSE CHART.
NOTE:
RECONNECT THE FLUID LEVEL SENSOR AFTER ROAD TEST.
