Speed Control System Does Not Disengage W/Brakes Applied

1. Apply brake pedal and ensure brake lights work. If satisfactory, proceed to step 2. If not satisfactory, check and repair stop lamp circuit.
2. Check for proper vacuum dump valve operation. If satisfactory, proceed to step 3. If not satisfactory, adjust or replace as necessary.
3. Check for proper servo operation. If satisfactory, proceed to step 4. If not satisfactory, replace servo.
4. Replace amplifier with known good amplifier. If system operation is satisfactory, replace amplifier. If system operation is still not satisfactory, ensure all system electrical connectors have proper contact.
