This Pinpoint Test is intended to diagnose only the following:

- Powertrain Control Module (PCM) (12A650)

- Harness circuits

- TSS (7M101) or (7H103)

DESCRIPTION

The Transmission Speed Sensor (TSS) is a magnetic pickup that sends a signal to the PCM. This signal tells the PCM the transmission rpm. On AXODE (AX4S) applications the TSS is located in the "chain cover" halfshaft area which is on the right side of the transmission. On AODE/4R70W applications the TSS is located on the rear of the transmission case, driver's side.
