I - Master Cylinder Diagnosis Guide, Pedal Effort Excessive

- Detach booster push rod from pedal pin and depress brake pedal fully.

- Has pedal effort condition been corrected?

YES -- Check booster vacuum availability.

NO -- Service or replace brake pedal linkage. Repeat step I1.
