Rear Wiper Switch

REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove center finish panel as follows:
a. Remove radio.
b. Release radio opening cover tabs, then remove cover
c. Remove rear wipe/wash, rear defrost and fog lamp switches.
d. Remove center finish trim panel screws and grasshopper clips, then the panel.
3. Remove main wiring connector from rear wiper switch.
4. Remove main wiring connector from center trim panel by pushing on wiper switch from main wiring connector side until snap-in mounting clips release.
5. Reverse procedure to install.

NOTE: When battery ground cable has been disconnected and connected, some abnormal drive symptoms may occur while Powertrain Control Module (PCM) relearns its adaptive strategy. Vehicle may need to be driven ten miles or more to relearn strategy.
