C6 - Check For Shorted EVP/PFE/DPFE Sensor

- Key "OFF".

- Breakout box installed, Powertrain Control Module (PCM) connected.

- Disconnect Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) sensor.

- Key "ON", engine "OFF".

- Measure voltage between test pin 26 and test pin 46 at the breakout box.

- Is voltage less than 4.0 volts?

Yes -- Key "OFF", reconnect EGR sensor. Go to C7. C7 - Check For Shorted MAP/BARO Sensor

No -- Replace EGR sensor. Remove breakout box. Reconnect all components. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
