- Remove breakout box and reinstall all components.

- Clear all codes. Clearing Trouble Codes

- Key OFF.

- Key ON.

- Run system self test.

- Retrieve codes. Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

- Are C1225 OR C1226 set?

YES -- C1225 is set. Intermittent concern may be present. Go to AB4 to address possibility of second concern. AB4 Verify ECU Function

YES -- C1226 is set. Intermittent concern may also be present. Go to AB1 to address the possibility of a second concern. AB1 Visual Inspection and Brake Lamp Function

NO -- Different code is set. Go to appropriate pinpoint test. Diagnostic Trouble Code Descriptions

NO -- Code is set. Stop. Concern has been corrected.
