AIR23 - Check Combination AIRB/AIRD Valve Operation

Combination AIRB/AIRD Valve:

NOTE: If the combination valve Is a bleed type valve, the amount of air flow will be affected.

^ Key OFF.

^ S port vacuum line disconnected and unplugged.

^ Apply 27-34 kPa (8-10 in Hg) vacuum to port S on the combination valve.

^ START engine and idle at 1500 rpm.

^ Is air flow present at outlet A?

YES -- Return to diagnosis by symptom to address other possible causes. Diagnosis By Symptom

NO -- Replace combination AIRB/AIRD valve. Verify drive concern.
